Do to the dwindling of membership and lack of member's enthusiasm by the majority.............
THE GUYS and DOLLS' CORVETTE CLUB HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN!!

WHO WE ARE:
A non-profit Corvette Enthusiast's Car Club composed of members throughout the Bay Area.
ESTABLISHED: January 17, 2004 Saturday @ Vallejo,CA
Co-Founders: Reginald "Reggie" Boggs, Hosea Hopkins and T.David "Deno" Thornton
CHARTERED MEMBERS: Kay Boggs, James and Martha Burns, Kim Hopkins, Patricia "Pat" Hunter and Vasceil L. "Rainey" Thornton.

MEETINGS: 4th Saturday bi-monthly.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
*1. Must be the owner of a Corvette or Co-owner.
2. Must have Corvette currently registered and insured.
3. Must become a member of the Western States Corvette Council.
*Under WSCC guidlines a Corvette Club may have up to 20% non-Corvettes.

CIVIC ACTIVITIES: Contributions to non-profit organization(s) for the undeserved and downtrodden in our communities. Fundraiser, food drives, clothing drives and book drives.

Purpose and goals of the Guys&Dolls Corvette Club:
It is not limited to enjoyment and socializing for ourselves, but also to help those who are undeserved in our communities at holidays and as the need arises.
a. To Promote a positive role model for the children in our communities.
b. To help at Thanksgiving and Christmas
c. To encourage pride in the ownership of a Corvette.
d. To exchange information relative to Corvette owners.
e. To promote a favorable relationship with the public and charity organizations.
f. Road trips (A way to branch out and have the club noticeable to the general motoring public in a positive light.)
g. Outings for comfort runs; (i.e eating and shopping.)
h. Fund drives for charity organizations (i.e juvenile diabetes, various types of cancer, homeless shelters, recovery centers, etc.)

Standing membership fee:
Membership for WSCC is $35.00 plus club dues of $10.00 per car a total of $45.00 due when joining G&DCC.
Members purchase club shirts (Guys and Dolls will pay 50% of ONE shirt purchase), jackets and ball caps when they feel the need to. (At lease one shirt per member should be purchased when joining to wear to meetings and runs.) NOTE: Club dues was decreased January 2008
