		Guys & Dolls Corvette Club By-Laws and Policies “Ride With Pride” is more than a slogan it is ATTITUDE! 1.New club members SHALL be voted in by club members. 2.Your Corvette/vehicle must remain currently registered and insured while a member of the G&DCC. 3.Members and Co-Members SHALL become members of the Western States Corvette Council and keep their membership current while a member in G&DCC. 4.Members SHALL pay their dues on time. (Members SHALL be dismissed from the club when they are 90+ days behind in their dues). 5.Members must obey all traffic laws when riding with the G&DCC. 6.State Traffic Laws and G&DCC prohibits exhibition of speed among members or others on the road while on runs. 7. You must obey the laws concerning alcohol/drugs in your vehicle while with the G&DCC. 8. Respect of members and their guest at all times. 9. Profanity is not acceptable in meetings. 10. Theft of any kind will not be tolerated and will lead to dismissal from G&DCC. *11. Members who take a leave of absence from the club will be granted one time up to 90 days. 12. Members SHALL attend at lease 2/3 of the clubs meetings. Those who do not comply to this SHALL not have voting privileges for the remainder of that calendar year. They will not have any say so in club matters for the new calendar year of the club. "They are silent members" * Doing this period the member (s) SHALL not be allowed to pay club dues. A leave of absence SHALL only be granted ONCE in a THREE year period. Upon returning to an active member status the member SHALL be required to pay normal entry fees, this will include WSCC dues if not current. (The By-Law addition(s) will go into effect January 2006) Amendments to By-Laws as of Feb 10, 2007. 1. E-board members shall serve a two (2) year terms starting in 2007. 2. The club will no longer pay the dues for re-newel of membership in WSCC when a member takes a leave of absence from Guys and Dolls. Habitual infractions of the by-laws and policies can lead to being suspended or dismissed from the club. ** Policies of Guys & Dolls Corvette Club: Bi-Monthly Meetings: Meetings will have a 15-minute “breaking ice” period from announced start times. Meeting shall start at 2:00 PM. • Punctuality to meetings or start of runs is a must. • You must wear club attire to meetings and runs. Amendment as of Feb 10, 2007. Members may wear any approved color club shirt with club logo may be worn to meetings. • You must represent the club with pride. • You may not use the G&DCC name without approval from Co-Founders. • Members SHALL be financially responsible when on any G & DCC outings. This includes club entry fee, club dues and purchasing club regalia. • We SHALL not have "Guests RIDE Along" on club runs or going to club meetings. The reason for this is LIABILITY for G & DCC and its members. If a person(s) desires to go to a club meeting with a convoy of cars leaving from their area, the non-member shall sign a release of liability form. If they refuse to sign the release form, they will have to meet the club at the location the meeting or outing is held. This is also required by WSCC for insurance reasons. • Members are required to bring their binders with club information to the club meetings. (Reason for this is to store current updates in the binder. It is better to leave your binder in your car at all times if possible.) • Club attire is for club members and paying co- members only (i.e. jackets, club shirt.) Commemorative tee shirts maybe purchased by non-club members and worn. No monies SHALL be returned for membership or co-membership when dismissed or a leave of absence is taken. ***Club Member’s Vehicles other than Corvettes*** Club Members may drive other vehicles on club runs or meetings when need be. (i.e As support vehicles or Corvette is unavailable.) WSCC allows up to 20% non-Corvette owners. These non-Corvette owners are still required to join WSCC to be covered on convoys, car displays or other club activities G&DCC maybe participating in.
